We are back for more interior painting in Orchard Park. This time we are repainting the trim in the rec room, stairs to the second floor, 90 or so spindles, and master bedroom/bathroom trim. We cleaned it, lightly sanded, cleaned it again, and then began applying the first coat of paint. The painted wood-work is being repainted through out the entire house, using Behr trim enamel – oil base, only available in quarts. All the wood-work is receiving two coats of paint, including window frames, window sashes, baseboards, stair risers and stringers, and door frames.
We began this project back in April 2025 repainting many of the ceilings and doing some ceiling repairs in the living room. Then in September of 2025 we returned to continue painting the trim through out the home. including the two columns in the living room. This is the type of job, where we take before and after photos, and it doesn’t look like we did anything.

Here is the power of lighting.. we painted these two columns in September, so we know they are the same color. But they certainly didn’t look like they were the same color!
