Today we started a small project in Williamsville patching a hole in the kitchen ceiling and a wall in a bedroom above it. They had Ed Youngs Plumbing over to fix a leak. We often follow behind Ed Youngs covering up their amazing work. Lol.
In the kitchen, we erected a simple plastic dust containment box to contain our mess. We failed to get before pictures. Suffice to say we had to square off the hole, to make patching easier which creates dust and dirt. Then take measurements of the newly sized hole.
We really dropped the ball on the pictures. So upstairs, they had to access the plumbing for the bathroom, and because the bathroom has 4 feet of tile up the walls all the way around, its easier and cheaper to go through the bedroom wall. No before pictures, but here is the finished drywall patch.
The kitchen ceiling patch is done as well, But we will get pictures of that in the morning. Tomorrow, we will sand and spot prime our patches, and then paint the affected wall and kitchen ceiling.
