Finishing a New Drywall Ceiling in Tonawanda

This isn’t something we do every day, we specialize in drywall and plaster repairs, not new drywall finishing. But this ceiling project in Tonawanda NY was a nice change of pace.

How long does it take to finish a new ceiling?

This ceiling took two days to finish. Day one: Tape and mud the seams, joints, and corners. Day two: Sand, prime, and paint the ceiling two coats. About 14 hours total.

How much does it cost to finish a new ceiling?

This ceiling cost $1,500 to finish. Due to it being a Capital Improvement, no sales tax was collected.

This project took us 2 days.
